• The project is a contemporary home built in sympathy with the existing heritage cottage and established gardens on the property.
The new home is a hidden refuge. A carefully choreographed dance between soaring structure and the delicacies of nature.

Walking into the house, you are welcomed with high racked ceiling and the streams of natural light through ascending panels of glass. The wide hallway/ gallery on the right invites you to explore the other side of the house. The lowered ceiling, draws you through a deliberate absence of light in the hallway to the contrast of expansive raked ceiling, skylights and glazed panels of the living area, framing the stunning garden beyond.
    It’s a sense of openness.
It is the play of opposition.
    It’s dark vs light.
It’s pause and play, form and fluidity
